L’uomo oggi ingurgita immagini e notizie in massicce quantità, la maggior parte delle quali sfuggono divenendo invisibili, immediatamente dopo l’avvenuto recapito, trascinando con esse l’uomo ed il suo interesse per l’uomo. La notizia e il suo protagonista diventano quindi una contraddizione in termini, trasformandosi da storia e memoria ad effimera rappresentazione del nulla. L’interesse imbriglia l’uomo giusto il tempo necessario a poter dimenticare e passare ad altro. Da qui la consuetudine, l’abitudine, l’andare avanti verso un naufragare lento e costante, in un atteggiamento passivo e pericoloso che caratterizza la società contemporanea… ci abituiamo a tutto, attraverso una disarmante passività!

Today man gulps down images and news in massive quantities, most of which escape becoming invisible, immediately after delivery, dragging with them man and his interest in man. The news and its protagonist thus become a contradiction in terms, transforming from history and memory to an ephemeral representation of nothingness. Interest harnesses the right man for the time necessary to be able to forget and move on to something else. Hence the custom, the habit, moving forward towards a slow and constant shipwreck, in a passive and dangerous attitude that characterizes contemporary society … we get used to everything, through a disarming passivity!
